Microsoft 모래성 출시하다.

이번에 Microsoft에서 Documentation Compiler라는 툴을 새로 공개하였다. 아직은 CTP 빌드인데, 그 이름이 모래성이다. ^^ SandCastle.

아직 사용은 못해봤는데, 아마도 공개가 되어 있을 듯 싶다. NDoc을 대체하기 위함이라는데(NDoc도 충분히 좋은데^^) , 그렇다면 지금 MS에서는 무슨 툴을 사용하고 있을까? 맨 밑에 보면 내부적으로 사용하고 있다고 소개되어 있는데, 약간 다른 툴인가?

Sandcastle에 대한 대략적인 소개가 있어서 가져왔다.



Sandcastle Overview:

Produces quality, comprehensive, familiar MSDN-like documentation.

Works with or without authored comments.

Supports Generics and .NET Framework 2.0

Sandcastle has 2 main components (MrefBuilder and Build Assembler)

MrefBuilder generates reflection xml file for Build Assembler

Build Assembler includes syntax generation, transformation..etc

Sandcastle is used internally to build .Net Framework documentation
