이런거 꼭 해보고 싶었는데, Debugging Demos Lab

Back in 2004, after finishing translation of Debugging Applications for Microsoft .NET and Microsoft Windows (John Robbins, Microsoft Press, 2004), I opened Debuglab. At that time I wanted to operate it as not only community portal, but also a Laboratory. I really pushed myself to the website. I tried many art-of-state technologies, especially a debugging test system so that ensures a developer can debug and test his/her product. It was not such a big hit, but I had learned from it.

Today I was happend to come by Tess' blog. She is a great Debugger (not software debugger, but human debugger) at Visual Studio team from Microsoft. While I read her articles, something big passion came up to my mind that I have forgotten for many years.

2004년 Debugging Applications for Microsoft .NET and Microsoft Windows 이라는 책을 번역하면서 디버그랩 이라는 사이트를 개설했습니다. 단순히 커뮤니티 사이트가 아니라 그야말로 'Lab'이라는 이름에 걸맞게 여러가지 연구를 하고 싶어서였습니다. 처음엔 의욕적으로 많은 시도를 했었습니다. 그 중에서도 가장 의욕적으로 했던건 디버깅 실력을 테스트하고 향상시킬 수 있도록 각종 매크로를 활용하여 디버깅을 학습하는 시스템이었습니다. 지금 찾아보니 어디에 만들어 뒀는지도 못 찾겠네요. 아직까지 Research 사이트는 남아있군요. ;-)

오늘 Microsoft에 근무하는 인간 디버거 Tess의 블로그를 보면서 다시 한번 의욕을 불사르고 싶어졌습니다. 그녀가 올린 글들을 보면 저의 세포들이 들 끓는다고나 할까요? 디버그랩에 얼른 자료 퍼다 날라야 겠습니다.
