경쟁업체끼리도 케이크를 주고 받는다?

Internet Explorer team sent a cake to FireFox team to congratulate on shipping of FireFox 2.0 few days ago. What a humaneness! What if Naver release new service? Does Empas or Daum would like to send a cake to congratulate on shipping of new service at Naver? I don't think so. I believe it is not bad that your competition company release a new service. Because there are always pros and cons in a art-of-state technology. It is possible and the service provider always believe that the new service will have a firm grip on the marketing. He could, however, be a loser because the new service is too unfamiliar with customers. :-)

얼마전 불여우 2.0 출시와 함께 IE 팀에서 불여우 개발자에게 케이크를 보냈다는 군요.

아~ 정말 안습입니다. 우리 나라에서 만약 네이버에서 새로운 서비스를 출시하면 다음이나 엠파스에서 새로운 서비스를 만드느라 수고가 많았다고 케이크를 보내는 일이 생길까요? 사실 생각해보면 경쟁업체에 있어서도 그리 나쁜 일만은 아닙니다. 첨단(art-of-state) 기술은 항상 양날의 검과 같습니다. 빼어난 기술로 시장을 선점하든지, 아니면 홍보만 해주고 더 나은 기술로 무장한 후발 업체에게 자리를 내주던지.
